Current Events
Monthly meetings are held the last Tuesday of the month. Visitors are warmly welcomed. Meetings are called to order at 7:00 p.m. and generally run for about an hour.
Once in the library, go to the information desk and ask for directions to the smaller conference room.

We won the "Best Newsletter" award at the Northern District meeting on March 8th 2008!
May 5th - Dinner for Doorways
We made and served dinner for 53 women and children who are staying at the
Doorways for Women and Children shelter.
April 26th - Food Donations
We packed and donated 59 pounds of food in 17 bags to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)
April 19th - Easter Crafts at Washington House
We chatted with and helped senior citizens make some Easter crafts!

September 9, we cooked and served dinner to dozens of
families in the
Doorways for Women and Families program.
We used some tips from Top Chef for making spaghetti, lasagna, and salad and got some
great donations from stores in the Northern Virginia area (Safeway and Giant and H.
Thank you for donating food - Safeway and Giant!!
NV Juniors help at "barn beautification day" at the
Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program property.
